The teacher and skipper

Christophe Mouze, sati yoga teacher
Christophe has been studying and practicing yoga since 1994. He originally trained as an Iyengar teacher in the late 1990s, but his asana practice has since been influenced by a number of other yoga styles, particularly ashtanga vinyasa and the atma vikasa style of Acharaya Venkatesh (from Mysore), his main teacher for a number of years.
Pranayama (yogic breathing) has also been an important part of his practice from early on. His main pranayama teachers include S. OP Tewari and Emil Wendel .
More recently, his quest for a more balanced practice led him to study the teachings of Buddhism on ethics and meditation, which he found complement and enrichhis hatha yoga practice.
Christophe is certified by the Independant Yoga Network as a senior (1000 hours) teacher.
He is the author of the book "Le yoga ashtanga vinyasa"(published in France by Agamat)
Christophe is also a very experienced sailor and former sailing instructor. He has sailed across the Atlantic three times, and have spend many months exploring the Caribeans on various boats. He will be happy to teahc you sailing, and take you to the best anchorages aound Guadeloupe.
