Welcome to Sati Yoga Online Training

Two types of online yoga and mindfulness training courses are available in this section of the site:

  • interactive yoga classes and webinars, which are taught through video conferencing (using Zoom),  and
  • recorded (self directed) yoga courses, on which you can enrol at any time and progress at your own pace.

Kapalabati master class
A hour long interactive workshop focusing on Kapalabati (rapid abdominal breathing), for people with some experience of it.   Next class Sunday 24h of October, 8.00 am GMT

Pranayama Practice Course
An interactive group-learning, eight-week online course.
This course is only suitable for experienced practionners, preferably with some prior experience with the Sati yoga approach, either completion of the Freeing the breath course or as a participant in one of our live breath workshop. However if you have a solid experience of both pranayama and mindfulness of breathing meditation, you are very  welcome to apply.

Pranayama for yoga teachers
This interactive six weeks online pranayama course is open to yoga teachers who want to include a safe, systematic approach to breath work in their classes.
Because this is an interactive course, number of participants is limited, so it is advisable to apply early. Once you’re application is accepted, you will be able to access the online material and will be sent a link to the Zoom classes when they start.
Like most of our online courses it is taught on donation.

Recorded courses

Teacher Training Course, online modules
This interactive online course is  currently only accessible to students enrolled on the Sati Yoga Foundation Training or the one year Sati Yoga Teacher Training course.

Freeing the breath
This a recorded course which introduces a unique approach to breath work, drawing   from both the Buddhist perspective exposed in the anapanasati suta and from classical yoga.  It includes recorded meditation and pranayama (yogic breathing) practices as well as written instructions.  You can start the course when you want and progress at your own pace.
This course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as for more seasoned practionnners of yoga or meditation wanting to  broaden their practice.
